The main advantage of this pressure cooker is the fact that we can cook in slow mode. I searched a bit on the Internet because no cookbook is provided. Then, with a cooking less than 80 ° C, you can keep the nutritional value of food. Cooking is between 4 and 20h. So, suddenly, we say: shame, this pressure cooker does not have a timer. Only a drive heating. I found the parade by plugging it into a smart plug that I set the cooking time.
I arranged all my food in the tank, I closed the lid and I plugged the unit. To add foods, just open the lid and voila.
I found a recipe in 10h Auvergne hotpot. I started in the morning and evening, it was over. I put the vegetables (potatoes, turnips, cabbage, carrots) spices (thyme etc), meat (ham, palette, chest) and broth (about 1l). I let it simmer for 10 hours in slow fashion that is to say 80 °. It was cooked, and I assure you it was good. Well, I stayed at home during the cooking time (I was not very reassured this was a first. No problem). And there, I regretted the absence of a hold function warm. And yes, when we start work in the morning, it would have been nice to have a timer function and keep warm to get back and put your feet under the table. Oh well.
I tested the fryer: I put some oil 2l. I set the switch to 200 ° and I have no special concern for cooking. Unfortunately, this is not a deep fryer, I handed the oil bottle for later use in frying. And yes, it is a 8 in 1 cooker.
I also tested the steam cooking I put the kettle on and I put the steam grid. I baked cauliflower. I was not very sure of myself but everything worked well.
This device also allows to grill meat or enter into. I tried with pork ribs (you can overcook no problem). Well, yes, it works but do not put too much meat because I think the heating is not uniform over the entire surface of the tank is evident when removing the tank. And that is not comparable, for me, a traditional cooking with a pan.
For accessories, it comes with six fondue forks but I have not tested this option. I do not know why but they also placed an appetite onions.
In short, an excellent slow-cooker (crock pot in good French) that will be its main use for me. For those who have small areas (studio or students), this device will soon become essential because it will be your steamer, slow cooker, deep fryer, stove and other things.
One last point: the leaflet, succinct, German and English, is available in French on request from the manufacturer. I can only advise you internet for slow cooking recipes. It lacks some features (cookbook, timer, keeping warm for example) but its low price allows you to forget those details that can be found in the high end. That's why I leave the 5 star
