First Beamer a direct hit

After a long search I've already 3 weeks ago the Epson TW3200 Full HD projectors ordered and now for 3 days in use. Have foreseen only every now and then various projector in use by friends and was - have always done solely on the size of the image - despite less than optimal conditions.

My projector comes in a living room to use, the distance to 92 "Hivilux Tension canvas with gain factor 1.0 is 3 meters, the screen is fully extended, so I have to take quite advantage of the lens shift down. My Impression:
The Beamer is much more difficult than expected and makes a very solid impression. The connection with 10 m HDMI cable worked immediately and the first setting in the menu was child's play. The setting KINO was something changed by me, adjusted a little more sharpness and brightness. The setting means Lensshift, zoom and focus as well to accomplish already in 2900 not a blessing, but with a little patience also. If Epson here finer settings of wheels made possible that would be super. Only a mark or latching exactly at zero, I would have liked at the lens shift wheels. If there is a mark, I do not see it, because I can not look at the projector. What I saw then, exceeds my expectations in every way. The seat pitch of about 2.60 to the screen is perfect for me, the whole picture can be taken without Augenüberanstregung and is still huge!

In complete darkness (above situation) was the image in the Blu-ray Cars simply sensational. For me as a complete newbie Beamer it is hard to imagine that, for example, which may be 4400 or later even better and I want to be honest did not see it. Because the Epson has a crystal-clear image, no smear (as unfortunately sometimes at Panasonic plasma) and color at its best for me. And then in this size .... This picture impression leaves all previous WOW effects forgotten in plasma. Had not thought that HOME CINEMA only is a projector for Holy Kral. Earlier it was often in the movies and have often annoyed by some very blurry images. That is history. I have previously seen in any movie such a great image, everything is just right.

Even night shots are great and much better than expected, although you can see very well the "black" bar at 2:35 format, but the plasma was no different. Depending on the film, the black level is ok to very good. For Cars in the tractor scene the picture is a stunner. Become a perfectionist but still certainly think about a simple but effective way to mask. Contrast is very good, the other Dynamic, living room and of course I looked at briefly and if, for example switches to one of the other after some time from the cinema mode, the picture again much stronger but also much more exhausting to look at darkness. The Movie mode is therefore the mean!

The volume is quite ok and only in quiet passages (Paranormal Activity) ever noticed, even though the projector is not 40 cm away from the listening position. Should not continue to run for some time after switching off the fan? Although my fan running, but only very briefly (a few seconds). Pixel errors, there is no and if I'm going to afford a calibration after about 100 hours, I do not know. All in all, I must confess to be very picky buyer, I have the picture so far nothing to complain about and regret buying at all. For 978 euros a Class buying and as always impeccable delivery from Amazon.
