The relay works without major problems even with the Pi - think there is / was here some uncertainty (felt the same way!)

The important thing is this:

The jumper connects the tension between the JD-VCC and the VCC pin. This must be removed
be. Then +5 volts Create (from Pi) to the JD-VCC +3.3 volts to the VCC pin (bar at the bottom)
and GND to the GND pin (Attention: JD-VCC and VCC do not mix!). The GPIO pins to switch
then to 1,2,3,4 - ready ...
