Have two trunk rubber mats ordered this type, even for an A-Class BJ 2012, once for a VW CC Bj 2013. Both fit perfectly. The surface looks - at least currently - very appealing and does not fall off compared to the original mats of vehicle manufacturers. Also is there material pleasantly flexible, the surface still slipping. Bottom right is a black shiny shield the manufacturer introduced that is also visually well fitted.
A rubber smell is not noticeable because the mats are delivered perfumed. There is a sweet smell of presumably to cover the rubber fumes. I think the smell is not unpleasant. Better than these typical "tire fragrance". In addition, the whole will also vanish when it gets warmer.
