I bought the antenna for my Baofeng UV-5R (at this point: please note that such devices require a license in order to legally operate, for example, an amateur radio license). Also fits on antenna base very well and closes tightly to the housing of the radio off. The delivered antenna shows me around their resonances in both bands at the band center and the SWR is okay. This antenna is nicely flexible - a clear advantage. Thus, the radio fits times in your pocket without looking what out ... The reception powers in my "testing environment" is compared with the original antennas included with radios very significantly improved. Even after a few days of intensive use, the antenna has not changed in their quality. A definite recommendation!
