The batteries will fit very well, thus it is only the 2600mAh version is this example a little shorter than eg Protectet XTAR 3100mAh.
But there are also protectet 2600mAh Akksu are longer (as long as good HC3100).
The XTAR I have the PD32UE screw it already badly laid, the spring should then be completely flat, and at the ProVari I trust myself not to screw up completely, because as yet quite nicely is a lot of pressure on it and the PlusKontkat directly on the board sitting.
The term is in accordance with the value.
More favorable 2600mAh do not last as long.
There are, I believe, good Panasonic / Sanyo brand cell used. This is also on the batteries.
Protect batteries are always a little longer, since a board with protection circuit to the positive terminal, and the whole is fixed to the heat shrink tubing outside.
The protection circuitry ensures that the batteries are not charged with excessive discharge and also not be discharged to depth.
At best, the gases batteries easily (except the device in which the batteries are has no vent hole or a weak point in the event, then pressure builds up and ... wham ..) collected in the unfavorable case, to burn on. Without protection circuit that happens much earlier.
This applies to virtually all lithium batteries. That is why you may only limited and usually take only batteries in the device, and with limited capacity with many airlines.
With poor protection circuit not these accesses or too early. Whether the protection circuit not engaged I can not judge, because for me, none of the batteries has outgassed. I trust here once naive on Made in Germany.
However, the circuit responds definitely not too early. The ProVari V2 can be easy to operate to the limit all the evaporator and the Fenix PD32UE making even at the maximum brightness level no problems.
The battery box is a nice Gimick, but I have already both been kaptt, the one holding back only to a fraction of the "hinge", the other is through my own stupidity (2 batteries included) fell down and was dannach two parts :)
As the box with the battery price here (I got the white even more expensive, or cheaper with shipping cost) is more likely to be seen as a gimmick and I therefore no deduction.
The label on the battery has already solved some may even be in the nature Themodruck.
It is also interesting that contain both sets different looking Batteries.
In one set of stickers is white and the lettering in green and gray, the other set has a silver label with black lettering.
The set with the white stickers has Imprinted these values: 3.7V 2600mAh
The set with silver stickers has these values here: 3.6V 2600mAh 9.62Wh
Feels like there were no differences.
The voltage difference has nothing to say, because the voltage at lithium batteries alone says little about the actual runtime.
This is only the voltage in which the batteries should be located most of the time.
Fresh after loading have batteries in the size 18650 mostly from 4.1 to 4.3 volts and fall short dannach up to the rated voltage, where they remain until it briefly before the end of next fall. At about 3.2 - 3.3 volts then no voltage from the battery more should be removed, because on the one hand a deep discharge is bad for life on the other hand are lithium batteries useless if they fall below a certain point.
Differences in the nominal voltage should account also any device something nowadays. As an example, consider themselves ordinary AA battery times, they have only 1.2 volt, AA disposable batteries 1.5Volt. Does a unit 4 of these are sometimes just different 1.2Volt, and nonetheless the device with very good battery runs even longer than average battery.
