Installation proved to be a small hurdle, since these video card was quite new to me. In my machine was previously one that does not require an extra power supply. Luckily I disassembled (sometimes more, sometimes less) some years ago PCs, so I came halfway cope. A small minus: Would it have been clearly described and text, what-where-how belongs, I would have had less problems. For example, I joined at the beginning of the extra power is not on, because I assumed that this is only used when it is overclocked or permanently very intense performance. So the graphics card was not even properly recognized as such, even though the fan was spinning ever.
But otherwise everything went flawlessly. Windows has (almost) everything correctly recognized. Yes, just almost everything! During installation, a temporary error occurred. The error was apparently not very important because the installation was nevertheless successfully completed. To date, I have not noticed any defects or severe performance degradation. So I can not tell you what this error during installation was just - he was just one, and although harmless.
The Catalyst ATI is as usual: Clear, user-friendly and fast loading. Most (all?) Options can be changed without a reboot, even very intensive changes. One can control his fan on the graphics card with the Catalyst even if one does not want to leave the standard software.
The graphics card fulfills a very good and steady performance. However, my CPU is not as good as it, which is why they will be thwarted by the CPU. Big plus: Even if they have to make some more, it is pleasantly quiet. Even disk accesses (!) Are partly loud! And you can not make quieter so easy.
All in all I am very pleased with this graphics card. I'm surprised but honestly that this quality can be sold at such a low price. Where does ATI because as a profit when so much power is in this comparably favorable cards in it? Unconditional purchase recommendation!
Best wishes, Sven
