A long time I am in possession of a Dymo, but a model with which I can only tapes but no labels. The LabelWriter 450 Duo can as the name says both: among the upper opening, the recording for a label roll in the drawer hides below the tape cassette. The scope of supply includes the following: power cable with AC adapter, USB cable, software, instructions and starter labels. Thanks to the starter labels you can get started immediately with both the label printing and the tape pressure. The instructions are very easy to understand explained in writing and pictures and installation takes a few minutes (tested on Windows 7). The design of the product is heavy and stable packaging tailored to compact size of the unit and accessories. The factory setting was very stable run with double foil to the label printer and securing strips in the tape guides. The software is self-explanatory. In addition to texts can be printed on the labels and bar codes or pictures, the printing is done insanely fast, the print image is full and legible. Those who are familiar with common office applications, we get along in the Sortware immediately. So far I am very satisfied with the device for my application and would decide in a case of new purchase definitely be back for a Duo device from Dymo. Although mailing labels can be produced in mass favorable to a printer, but for the Dymo speaks speed, flexibility (mobility, diverse printing capabilities) and it does not require the print cartridges, only the tapes must be purchased separately.
