Introduction:
-------------------------------------
I was having on the lookout for a simple bike computer of all the standard features, but none has unnecessary ...
My search came to an end when I came across the Sigma BC 1009.
The cycle computer has the following functions:
Line 1:
- Current speed in km / h
- Indication whether faster or slower drives as the average daily rate (arrow up / down)
Line 2:
Main menu:
- Time
- Total Km
- Total travel time
Set menu:
- Day-Km
- Driving time of the tour
- Average Km / h
-. Max Km / h
Operation and construction:
-------------------------------------
One custom in which computers are not afraid that you get lost in any sub-menus, because all functions are displayed in line 2 and are labeled. The name of the function is therefore wrong. eg travel time, day Km, Max. Km / h etc.
When times briefly dealt in with the operating instructions and the computer, you can then operate it intuitively.
The computer has 4 buttons (top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right)
Top left:
With this button you can delete the daily records. Either you choose the function you want to delete and delete them or you hold the button for about 3 seconds and there are all daily data deleted.
Top right:
This button can be in the main menu (Time, Total Km and Total travel time) switch back and forth. For technical reasons, but this is only in the state.
Bottom Left:
This button is for the settings. If three seconds you press it you can admire the language (German or English), Km / h or mp / h, the wheel circumference, the time, complete Km, set the total time and the display contrast.
If the computer is set once one needs this button only 2 times a year to set the time to daylight saving time to adapt.
Bottom Right:
With this button you can switch the functions daily (day-Km, duration of the tour, Average km / h Max. Km / h) back and forth.
Technology and design:
-------------------------------------
I was initially a bit confused about the cable connection from the receiver to the steering wheel holder, but my bike dealer of trust has the thing with cable perfectly fitted me. The cable was wrapped around the brake cable of the front brake for this and it fits really well with the overall picture of the bicycle. Not least because of the crept designs the computer from piano black and silver buttons. Fingerprints you need not fear on the piano lacquer. Already tested've ;-)
The computer is operated as usual via a button cell and the click-rotating mount for the computer keeps these firmly and securely.
Conclusion:
-------------------------------------
The Sigma BC 1009 is worth the money in any case. He also has all the necessary functions and is easy to use. The build quality also makes a stable and high-quality impression.
This review may sound for some determined as the purest paean and just as it is. Price / performance ratio is right easy!
Very strong buy recommendation!
