As infrequent callers I wanted a simple, inexpensive mobile phone to make phone calls and occasional SMS messages. In this regard, I am very satisfied with the Samsung GT-E1080. The display is bright and clear, the keys respond well, the device is light and the battery lasted (at least initially) actually almost 14 days of standby operation through (and after 6 months has not significantly eased). Very annoying but I found that I did not manage to set the phone so that there is a sound only when a call (and not even the switching on and off). The option is, however, as further explained Steffen (Thank you!) Therefore now 4+ place 3 stars. (Updated 20.4.2011)
