The aluminum arm is pivoted, this should Allerding foot hold in order to prevent slipping of the lamp; and the lamp head can be moved up or down. A lateral displacement is not possible. The brightness modes are perfectly adequate, usually I leave it at level 1 or 2, the brightest is rare for me to use. Night mode, I find quite nice; I like to use it if I do not sit at your desk and want to create only a small cozy island of light.
The LED's run with 5000 Kelvin; this light is not there to spend a romantic evening (unless you're on neon-romantic). It is very white, very suitable for working, but in the bedroom I would never stand up to me as a lamp.
Desirable would have been if the attachment or off separately to use and would not be coupled with the brightness levels. If you want to change, for example from level 2 to level 1, one can not help, turn off the lamp shortly. The keypad is hard to find in the dark, here were small surveys have perhaps quite fitting.
The LED's are not interchangeable. The service life is however given 40,000 hours; with an assumed average use of 5 hours per day would be about 20 years. Certainly previously have failed the power supply or other component.
The power pack is pleasantly small and is certainly in an already well gefüllen socket nor a place. It hums or buzzes not. The cable is 1.5 meters long. I would have a slightly longer cable preferred.
All in all, however, the lamp is worth buying, the price / performance ratio is very good, especially especially when one considers the low power consumption.
