+ Long-lasting
+ Completely trouble-free use in smoke detectors 7 for 3 years
+ Reasonable price compared to individual batteries
== Introduction
After one year, made themselves known to us, the smoke detector with a short and sharp beep, so time to change the batteries. The choice was made due to the low price of approximately EUR 1 each battery to the 9V Varta Industrial.
== Packaging
The batteries 20 are packed in two black cardboard boxes of 10 each. Each battery is individually packed in foil with red "ribbon" for tearing.
== Production and expiration date
The batteries the date of manufacture (PD = Production Date) and the expiry date (EP = Expiration Date) below are stamped into the black plastic. The batteries supplied me were produced and are stable until 02/2011 06/2016 (if they not previously are empty ...). Today we write 07/2011.
== Quality and durability
For power, leakage protection, etc. the batteries I can not say anything yet. The old NoName batteries held one year by the smoke detector. My expectation would be that the Varta batteries make it at least as long. More then but in a year ...
== Delivery (depending on the vendor)
The delivery by "Online store Leipzig - Wholesale & Retail" took place without any problems. Ordered on Friday morning, delivered on Wednesday morning. The batteries come in a small, padded envelope to adequately packed.
== Update 07/2014
After 3 years (!) Now has reported the first smoke detector. The battery life is of course highly dependent on the power consumption of the smoke detector. In our house there are 0815 Smoke Detector branded Unitec. Three years I find there quite well.
