After only one day as usual delivery time my Item arrived - and lo and behold, when "Extra" there was a free sample of (guess what!) Of "Tetra Safe Boot" (30ml). Thus, the order of the 100ml bottle had been superfluous, because according to directions on the label 5ml Safe Start per 6l of water are added. In my 30l Basin, perhaps fit into the gravel and decoration almost 20l to 25l of water, I did not even add the whole sample bottle of safe start. The 100ml bottle is (by now half a year) still unopened around with me. But that does not evaluate the product from natural, but made me just a little bit "annoyed" because I the 10 well could have saved me.
Well, the starter bacteria were added according to instructions and by almost 1.5 weeks, the water values have leveled off. As aquarium novice I do not know if this "quick" break-in is now in fact due to the starter bacteria or whether it with my small amount of water (about 25L) just goes faster. In the first 3 water changes (even without trimming the pool) I just ever again added a little splash of bacteria. The water levels were ideal!
About the real effectiveness of these starter bacteria is hotly debated, but I think now just that the bacteria have quite a positive contribution to climate and aquariums would anyone else who would do everything right, recommend it. Bad it can not be, after all :)
