With a device like the Young 2 with 3.5 inch display it is naturally a compromise. That would be stupid to deny. Something you buy more for children or as a second unit while waiting for a repair. If one is aware of, but you can certainly cope with the device. The resolution of 480 x 320 pixels on 3.5 inches barely tolerable and the compact by today's standards design has indeed its advantages. Some apps are for as low resolution, however, is no longer really optimized. So then you have occasional trouble seeing what one is writing, because the keyboard already fills a large part of the display.
But the decisive argument for me to the Galaxy Young 2 is the (March 2015) current operating system Android 4.4. Then run current apps. In general we can do with the phone basically anything you can also do with a big: write messages, Googling, trails, shopping ... I had to install at least no problems my usual apps. This is not self-evident at minimum smartphones. Also, the memory was only once sufficient. A camera without autofocus can naturally meet any higher claims, but as children's toys it is good already. A flash LED there is not unfortunately.
Overall: 4 stars - you get what you pay for.
