The possibility of its own MP3 player to connect to the small console is a great idea, because then one is not bound to songs.
Found that at various Wii games already relatively uncool that you then so has old songs for dancing and such games then also just outdated.

For children 9 that is still a huge amount of fun and a challenge for coordination.
Noise I find relative. If this music is heard, then that's loud. So even children toys may be noisy.
It has such a game so no running hours at a stretch.
I think the fun factor at any rate highly in children ages 8 and up. The device itself makes a stable impression.
