Through various websites (including here at Amazon) I have become aware of the Slik Sprint Pro EZ Tripod.
After much reading, visiting various shops that carry tripods and various functional tests, I then decided to use the Slik and this decision regretted it a bit today.
Even for the SLR, it is sufficient for recording images with little wind.
With the G10, it is sufficient with wind (fully extended). If it is extremely one renounces grip on the bottom leg segment and the center column and finished.
The build quality is top, the service smooth and the tripod is highly variable in the structure options.
By quick adjustment and the removable disk, it should be used very quickly.
The sponge rubber casing on the legs and the carrying case are also very good.
Of course it is not appropriate to work on a stormy place with a heavy DSLR at eye level, but I have not bought it, too.
For this I use my Gitzo, but that part is 4 times as large, 4x and 5x as expensive as hard, when space is thus a rather ungünsige solution and carried around in the terrain it also wants to be.
My Conclusion:
For a compact camera (and for this price) is the perfect compromise between size, weight, processing, equipment and materials !!!
I've kept a better stand for the same money in the hands.
