I have the T-005KX acquired primarily for use with a PowerShot S110 (200g). The tripod is absolutely appropriate for this purpose and even the 2-fold extract the center column available. It summarizes over all controls surprisingly wertig to. The only negative point is the pocket, whose logo was no longer completely already in cardboard and is printed legally inferior.
After the stand already made a pretty good impression of the compact, I dared my DSLR EOS 7D with 17-55 / 2.8 IS and to put battery grip (together 1.999g). But I took it not the supplied disc, but a larger one that I already had from other Sirui heads. For use with the 7D I built from the center column and put the head directly on the tripod spider. It was found that indicated on the package 113cm height to understand already incl. Tripod head. Without the head Sirui has unfortunately only offer meager 95cm, for a DSLR with eyepiece so rather a stopgap. I settled down that the tripod with this load would swing merrily. For testing I put the 7D on Live View and activated the 10x loupe. IS has been disconnected. Then I tapped on the camera at various points. She swung out in good 1s.
That encouraged me sometimes to try a longer focal length. I put a 70-200 / 4 L IS with tripod mount and disabled also here the IS. Camera Live View and 10x magnifier, zoom to 200mm. Here swung the combination after tapping out in relatively short 3s. Then I got really brave and sat now but the center column to. All conditions as before. Due to the large lever arm the framing sags when fixing the ball head by elasticity of the legs but already visible down, making it difficult to picture composition. However, the combination swings when tapping only about 5s, which I think is remarkable for this filigree design and their abuse with a heavy DSLR + Tele. On the departure of the center column extension I have omitted of course.
For me there is a two-part conclusion for tripod:
-. For a compact fully fit, including 2-fold extract the center column
- For a DSLR with shorter focal lengths as a makeshift usable if you let the center column away (! = Duck) and the customary auxiliaries mirror lock and a remote control used. With center column with DSLR usable only with no wind

Head:
Actually I bought this stand Combi only because of the lightweight ball head that I wanted to use for my Compact together with a Velbon Ultra rexi L. It weighs only 200g and also holds a DSLR without problems. Clear the equipment is somewhat limited. So there is no friction setting, and the safety pin for the plate has no quick release, which is why you up the clamp always cumbersome and far must screw it. The locking screw is no feedback on how firmly it is closed. You will always weigh the same, even if the head has long bombproof locked. Otherwise, the head is processed but fine, it is nowhere fat from (otherwise a typical Sirui problem) and it warps little while locking the ball. The ball and the Panoebene run pleasantly soft. The Panoebene should be completely solved this but, otherwise she scratches easily. If you consider what costs the head individually, the combination with the small tripod is really cheap. But you have to watch something, the prices vary by about a third.
Conclusion for the head:
- Great lightweight head for lightweight luggage, quite usable with minor degradation even with the DSLR
