I have not often used, but if then you could always set up the camera so well.
One must be aware that the thread what's up with the adapter is not a normal DSLR fits (in my case, Nikon D7100). For the adapter must be unscrewed. But then the thread fits without problems!
However, when the thread is screwed off the threaded rod no longer secured in the stand. If no camera is bolted might accidentally drop the rod out! Therefore, it should be screwed back after using the adapter. Unless you screwed up on a ball joint or quick release plate.
If you know the problem, it is a good tripod.
