For fiery evenings

The fire basket Vulcano consists of three parts: the basket, the basket stand and the ash tray. For models of low price category Screws are not uncommon. However, the manufacturer Ultra Natura omitted in this model completely on screws. Instead, the steel mesh of the basket is pretty well sealed. The fire basket is completely painted with heat-resistant matt black paint, making a total of a solid and well-made impression. The structure is easily and easy.

External dimensions

The dimensions of the basket are as follows: Top diameter 38 cm, bottom diameter 26 cm, height 39 cm.
The ash tray is approximately 47cm long x 47cm wide with an edge height of about 2.5 cm.

The total height of the fire basket in the erected state is about 57cm.

Practice

Unfortunately, the mere setting up of the fire basket leaves even small traces in the heat-resistant matte black finish. These cases, however, no longer, because the fire-box to use pure color no longer is in pretty handsome matte black Delivery condition after use. After one use we already have to find some scratches. The most significant criticism of the fire basket Vulcano is therefore its sensitive paint. Unfortunately, one gets the impression that a sealing layer have been forgotten in this.
Overall, however, wood logs are burning expected from homogeneous. Only the edge of the ashtray should be a few centimeters higher, since with varying wind but some fire debris not want to stay in the shell.

Conclusion

Had this Feuerkorb not as low, I would have still required a matching grill included. As criticism thus remains to mention essentially the somewhat weak finish. The fire basket is to use no more eye-catchers on the terrace. Whoever but not investigated, given a solid fire basket at a really good price / performance ratio.
