First of all:
* This product review I very hard done me because my chain on the one hand like very much (for dogs), but on the other hand for cats because the safety is not suitable and the manufacturers working on a solution. Appearance:

Pro:
* No unpleasant odor of virgin
* Very nice chain and cardboard box
* Beautiful accessory

* Easy to put on and remove the chain
* The chain stops and does not fall off.

* Effect: clear -> The dog has still always gotten ticks, emotionally they are but become less.
* Simple cleaning of the chain
* High longevity -> However, the manufacturer recommends an annual change since the protective effect wears flea with time.
* 26 for one year is very good. -> The same price I pay the vet for chemical flea control products (pipettes 2 = 2 months).
Contraindications:
* The chain does not have a security mechanism. -> When the animal gets stuck somewhere in clearance with the chain, may be it is not free and can at worst thereto (strangle, suffocate, starve, ...). -> Addition: The manufacturer says that the thread will break in such a case, but is working on a (further) solution.
* The chain does not have belt loops, so that the long piece of leather is far more than might and rumbaumelt in the air. -> A rubber ring provides a remedy.
* The leather closure is heavier than the amber necklace and slipping down when worn.
In short:
* For dogs, the chain may be suitable, but for cats (currently) not. -> For roaming cats definitely not suitable for and Stubentiger brings the flea nothing (assuming that the house is free of fleas ...), except that they'll wear a beautiful necklace. -> Addition: The manufacturer is working on a safety mechanism so that the chain will open when the animal so stuck somewhere.
* Nice idea without toxic chemicals -> tick only reduction, not a 100% prevention

* As a pure dog necklace I had the chain given 5 stars. -> Addition: The manufacturer recommends rather the chain amber necklace for dogs and cats from raw Baltic amber / Elegance tick collar / flea tape / amber against ticks / tick and flea protection collar / ticks Schutzhund / Flea Collar for Cats.
