We were like many others in search of a matching iPad 1 Holder for the car before the summer. For our daughter (4 years) it was the perfect opportunity even if playing / Viedoschauen nodding off to have the iPad relatively securely mounted. Processing good, the holder is relatively easy to assemble (matching Allen key you need). What we noticed: - When the iPad is not in it's holder and one leans into the car - for example to strap the child - are the corners of the holder stay sharp and you wear the head slightly away a scratch to observe nothing serious but still a point - As with all things, which are mounted in the vehicle room ... what happens in an accident? Here I missed the party, is woaruf to pay. As long as the child is safely strapped in the car seat, it is probably quite straightforward. After the holder but has no fixed locking of the recording, I am concerned that in an accident, the iPad is an additional part of the vehicle that carries an additional risk of injury. Presumably, it is still better than when it is on the lap of the child.
Unfortunately I kannn not say anything about alternatives.
