Attention! TomTom does not provide update service for this Navi!

I have the camper-Navi for about 4 weeks and have now received the reply from TomTom to my request that this navi - no map update service are, but only the 90-day update service - unlike the other TomTom navigation systems after purchase, which means you have new cards - after the 90 days - each time to correspondingly high price of approx. 90 EUR sale, if you want an actual map! Normally you get with TomTom for about EUR 40 per year on a quarterly basis a new card (and Garmin new cards are all free)!

Unfortunately, this is communicated neither TomTom nor from any other somewhere and you have to consciously that you have to expect significant additional costs if you buy this Navi, since the live service is only for 1 year and not for 2 years as with the "normal" 1015 Navis!

"You write that you received from us an email with the map update service offer.
Unfortunately, that was a Mass Information.

For your device - Go Camper & Caravan unfortunately there is no map update service for sale ".

... If I had known that before ...
