a 6V battery type LC RB066R5PG I used as a standard power source for small optical equipment. Then one day I wanted a reticle a an aiming circle illuminate - and nothing went. The review concluded: battery voltage to 1, whatever volts. I had started the stupid lamp and now the battery was fully discharged .... This is usually the death of lead batteries.
So I thought that I could now do a couple tests with the corpse. The charger but no current flowed. - I could have cried.
Really only for a spark (I advise anyone else from such experiments from !!!) - - Because I had the stupid idea, sometimes very briefly to touch the battery on a 12V car battery but then flowed back power and I let the battery on ( intelligent) charger. After nearly 10 days, the charge current regulated down as normal and the battery had even properly again capacity! I have something tried again with other manufacturers (Noname) - in vain!
That showed me that these batteries but have a slightly different quality. Also with regard to self-discharge and durability I made with Panasonic Batteries miles better experience than unbranded batteries. Therefore I bought this battery here and I see that it operates exactly like any other batteries of this manufacturer.
For me there is the case of lead systems therefore definitely only Panasonic.
