I prefer smaller pads, because I do not have as much space on the desk and no Gamerin am. My mouse movements are more common on the small side, quickly and accurately. Mostly I use no pad, but move the optical mouse (Logitech M305 optical notebook mouse currently cordless anthracite) directly on the desk surface. After using the discussed here pads I have to admit it: on the pad, the Mouse moves much better, more precise and more enjoyable.
The pad will be delivered rolled up, which is possible because it is very thin. For uneven surfaces it is therefore not suitable. But due to the rubberized back it adheres very well to the desk. After a day it had lost any remaining waves with me and now lie flat as a pancake on the desk.
