I do so: Officekram (Office is), Mail / Contacts / Calendar via Exchange (working properly), Surfing (! IE is actually and unbelievably better than Safari, Chrome or Firefox on other tablets), watch videos (PressPlay is here the best application, TVersity connection no problem), plenty of RDP sessions (Bin Admin, Remote working from your couch is wonderful :)). For my applications, the tablet is almost perfect, everything runs quickly and without Ruckelei, more I can not ask for the price.
Screen: resolution is OK, brightness and color very well. Also good to handle and wipe, not rough.
Housing: Wertig, the fold-out stand is worth gold.
Battery life: Up to now very good, also discharges not overnight like the HP Slate. 7
One disadvantage and for many certainly buying decision: The Appauswahl is small and the applications partly only available in English.
For "children play", who want to install thousands of apps, the Surface is nothing. Everything important for "normal" users, however, available and usable.
Even if the surface has a bad reputation, you should give him a chance.
