I am a Lifehouse fan from the start and have of course all 6 albums of the band. "Almeria" is certainly different from the previous albums, but in my opinion, all albums are similar, although the style but Lifehouse have evolved with every single album and therefore each album is a gem in itself. Only the golden voice of Jason Wade is a constant that makes the songs of Lifehouse unique. On "Almeria" can now be found country and blues elements that were quite wonderfully implemented eg in "Barricade", "Right Back Home" and "Rolling Off The Stone". For me as a big fan of Modern Country and Blues an absolute icing. Of course, songs as "Gotta Be Tonight", "Nobody lists" and "pins and needles" and beautiful ballads like "Only Youre The One" and "Aftermath" is not missing. I am so excited about "Almeria", that the CD runs with me in heavy rotation almost around the clock. I hope they come soon on tour with "Almeria", as are live Lifehouse a thousand times better than on CD. A strong buy recommendation from me for "Almeria" to all Lifehouse fans and those who want to become one.
