I have bought the LG 42LW4500 a week ago and get 5 days ago and I'm absolutely thrilled !!
In the beginning I had concerns me such a big TV to buy, because I must build it alone and connect. My concerns were totally unnecessary !!! It was no problem at all and lasted about 25 minutes. So I can a structure for singles and women (who are not necessarily technically advised) thoroughly recommend.
Setting up the TV was super easy and the menu has a very understandable. There are 3 HDMI 1.4 ports, USB 2.0 port and CI + module slot available. A little tip: Please do not waste so much time with the image settings at the beginning. This should be done over time.
The integrated DVB-T / -C I can not say anything, since I use Internet television. So I look over an HDMI connection TV. The picture is sharp and the sound is, for me, more than fine and very clear. Have since seen others LCD TV equipment and heard that were beneath contempt. The sound you have to but do not imagine like in the movies, but that should be clear to everyone that it requires an external system. What's absolutely amazing to me that 2D is> 3D technology !!! It works well in most cases. The result is a depth that one thinks that one sinks in a series or in a movie, for example. However, it does not come to the "Real 3-D" ran. But this is logical.
I chose for this TV because I want to see 3D in the best quality. That's possible with this device! Since I get a headache from shutter glasses, such television did not come into question for me. With the new Cinema 3D technology (polarization) and related Glasses (with me were 7 pieces here; cost of these glasses is around 10 euros (shutter glasses from 40 euros, I can now take the 3D cinema experience with in my living room up Attention: For this, a 3D capable BluRay Player is required!
I can recommend everyone this TV! The device gets to me the 5 stars because I could find no faults!
