I bought this to use USB keys and sdcard with my nexus 7 devoid of usb slot. It should be quite (also for my Samsung galaxy nexus). Just use the Nexus media import application (2 xx euros on google play. If you are Roote, stick mount is free) and it was up to 32gb additional access. You can also connect external hard drives if they are powered. The product is perfect.
