For non-demanding and casual users

Indeed, the room should be very clear that the image is bright. The rest of the time the video is rather dark. As for the photo mode, it is very average (poor image quality at any point of view, but hey, it's not a camera).

No choice is left for encoding and output format: WMA and WMV, period. Why impose it? No idea. The maximum resolution is 800x600 in "standard" mode, and 1280x720 in "widescreen" mode.

Two options can improve the quality of videos:

- RightLight: automatic adjustment of color, brightness, etc. In return, the video stutters and therefore lack of fluidity.

- RightSound: a noise reducer that works well when only voice is recorded (and pretty close). When you move away, which has a background sound or you want to check in playing an instrument, the sound becomes infamous, and it must then disable the option (the coup there was a blast, but the sound is more natural).

Conclusion: for 30, so do not expect too much on this webcam. It will suit people who, like me, will only be used rarely.
