Due to the specification and thanks first positive reviews, I decided for this device. When the TV has finally arrived after a fairly long wait, I was not at home and was later unpack and connect one week. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. Although I had previously read some critics who complained a lengthy installation and sluggish behavior, from the other side but also reviews that have these issues not addressed. So I was hoping to come to terms with the device. For now, a note I use a satellite dish with dual LNB for Astra and Eutelsat with the 1-cable connection, which signal is splintered via DISEC circuit. Searching the station lasted filled eternity. After the search was completed, I was faced with a list of well over two thousand entries. That figure out which of the channels are actually the right was not easy, because quite a few program transmitter more than once in the list, but not all are actually useful. A function for scrolling with simultaneous preview of the currently active position (as in my current satellite receiver) and the on-the-fly sorting option is missing altogether. So you're forced to write down more than one entry of a transmitter and drive in a different mode to see which of the many of the correct channel. Unfortunately, the function to scroll through the long list, anything but to call afloat. Apart from the peculiar logic of the sort, you need very very much time to put a station list together, what takes your last nerve. Because I wanted to have not only German speaking channels, but also that in 3 other languages (hence Eutelsat), it lasted several hours until I have to some extent, created the first list of major broadcasters. Finished I was not with it, but was able to look at one or another mission. On the second day the unit has hung in the middle when Tagesschau (1 HD on Astra). You could turn the TV off and on again. Unfortunately, a change of channels was no longer possible, the menus and functions were only partially accessible. After several attempts and read in the Internet forums I decided to factory reset. All settings away. Again lengthy tuning, which, however, has brought a completely different sorting for days. This allowed me to my first list of channel numbers listed simply forgotten. This time I have only invested an afternoon and made a few stations identified and sorted. I wanted to test just continue. Eventually the device has an update automatically found and installed. I AutoUpdate (the setting can be deactivated) left active because frequently we read that the updates that improve the speed should entail. Whoever believes Well, definitely I have the basic settings re-established. Then I read in the forum report on a new version of ChanSort program that can read and edit series of LG also program lists the LB. Without further ado, downloaded the channel list from the TV stored on the stick and read on a PC with the program. It worked really - what a relief. Good hope I have roughly sorted channel list and brought via stick back on the TV. Restart any channels, no settings exist, everything flat. The method described in the forums, the device without channel search did not function. So all over again. Again search the transmitter (again another order received), short order for 10 stations (with internal sorting function of LG, than 30 minutes since you had already practiced), station list to the stick (new, freshly formatted). Switching on and off all still there. Stations from the stick is read (without jegl. Modification or editing). Result? Restart any channels, no settings available. Here one is literally doctored (or similar). The TV is not to read or process capable own, unchanged data format. Backup for the stupid. It is believed to have a backup. Nonsense! This also confirms other research on the Internet. For testing of 3-D and other features I'm no longer come. What for? And otherwise? - Nested menus which are perhaps still acceptable for complicated settings and Internet access, but not for basic frequently used functions. Reaction speed, which brings also a phlegmatic for cooking, instability (there was later System-frozen) what is all this? I pay for a working device, not for a beta version and testing by the end customer. The unit can perhaps be useful if you're willing to accept the lame response times and on an update hoping that someday the stability improved at a limited number of channels (for example, when cable connection). As a TV with satellite receiver which is a disgrace. The other features I do not want to address. What are the greatest additions if the fundamentals is useless? I buy constantly come to terms to a TV program to see and not to me with the device.

A pity LG as one scares the customers successfully and permanently. The second step in the planned purchase of a LG home cinema system to complement the TV, so that also falls flat. An alternative (this time made in Japan) I have already set.
