Positive
---------
- The scope of delivery leaves nothing to be desired. You get a steering wheel, a switching unit, a (very large) pedal and the associated cables, including instructions for setting up
- The processing and the material of the individual parts is very high, you feel like in a real vehicle
- The handling of the steering wheel and pedals is used to at the beginning, when one has but once reingefitzt, you get a very realistic feeling conveyed. The steering wheel can be rotated 360 degrees and is due to its severity extremely well in the hand. The pedals must be properly entered to react, so as in reality. Even the gear stick is this in every way. The level of realism is enormously high
- Response times are at a minimum, steering wheel and gear unit can be also known as "controllers" use
- The steering works very precise, but does so for a bloody Beginners also the biggest frustration potential is
- Just like GT5 Racing simulations obtained by the authentic control again a whole new, superior level. But arcade racers like Need for Speed really fun when you get used to the steering
- Is supported the Logitech Racing Wheel from pretty much every game the past 3 years (at least), but you should be careful to put the unit in front of the start of the game, at least that was necessary for me
Neutral
-------
- The many buttons act quite irritating and many can be found out by trial and error, however, can thus replace the controller steering wheel and gear unit
- The many setting possibilities are simply overwhelming for beginners or casual racer for racing enthusiasts but a big plus
Negative
-------
- Connecting degenerates into a giant tangle of cables. It took me 30 minutes to plug the whole cable in the right places and then to organize the whole thing so that one establishes not countless pitfalls in the living room. In addition, a separate electrical circuit for the power supply is essential, which can sometimes cause problems in the construction, you should not have close, or far from the PS3. Times infect up quickly and start playing is not really in it.
- Those who want to fully enjoy this small technical masterpiece, which needs one thing above all: plenty of space. My living room is, unfortunately, much too small and probably set wrong because I have lost a lot of fun. But even if you want to connect the whole thing on the computer table, should a lot of space, especially for the pedal unit bring.
Conclusion
-----
On the whole, I am very pleased with Logitech's Racing Wheel flagship. It's top handles, offers plenty of realism and if you have played with it once, would you look at it really do not want to miss. The downsides are the gigantic tangle of cables and the demands on the living room, which you should keep in mind necessarily, before one gets this not very expensive piece of jewelry to his home. All in all, but no alternative just for racing enthusiasts to the competition!
Note
---------
As far as we known, the G27 will also be supported by the PS4.
