The illumination with the great, not demarcated spot for runners and of course many other applications where a small, clearly demarcated spot interferes, ideal. For bikers, I would recommend the Wizard only as an additional lamp for close range because too little coverage.
Because of the good mount the lamp with battery not too heavy and does not wobble even when running.
About the light color should worry before you buy, of course. The Cool White appear lighter (it's a bit noisy data sheet) and on some even more alive. Some more experienced but go to Neutral White (Armytek called the lights "warm", 4000K) over, because especially in the natural colors are natural, with Cool White is particularly the green of the plants more gray and less contrasty. The "hot CRI90" with 3000-3300K is mM quite warm and more for lovers of warm light.
I recommend protected 18650 LiIon battery brand (eg Keep Power, ENERPOWER etc.). Is long-term safe and protected batteries are about 4 mm long and about 0.5 mm thick, thus shaking the battery does not warrant the battery tube.
Who wants to have the maximum capacity, is protected battery purchases with 3400 mAh, there is the "Panasonic NCR18650B" cell installed. With this battery, the Wizard (465 lumens at NW according to the manufacturer) is running with the light step "main3" even exactly 4 hours constant brightness, but in the end it decreases rather rapidly, so do not completely make fullest.
Also not too save the charger!
Which lamp (s) can keep up with the Wizard? As a direct competitor, I see the "Zebralight H600 (w) MK2 or H600F (w) MK2". Of the illumination, there are distinct differences. The H600 is equipped with reflector and clear glass, spot is smaller and deferred to Spill, characterized but more coverage and brighter spill than the Wizard. The H600F has a conventional diffuser disc and thus has a similar illumination as the Wizard, H600F scattered a little more and not as structured as the Wizard.
When Zebralight H600 one has the possibility with "diffuser" as the "dc-fix Milky" to dispel the spot practice, making it more flexible.
