I do not know if it's specific to my article but the automatic opening is triggered well beyond 15 cms announced. If I hold myself standing face to the detector to within one meter, it opens if a table edge thus height of the sensor, is less than 20 cms it opens too, if the sensor has a wall less than 20 ms on the side it opens too short in a kitchen of less than 15 m2 it will be hard not to see the open and close all occasions, just by passing nearby.
Too bad because it is a very aesthetically beautiful trash.
