I do not judge those obtained with the coffee pods in absolute (I much prefer a real espresso), but compared to other soft pods, used in particular with Senseo machines. These pods are of good quality manufacturing and the package is reclosable, which is essential because the coffee go stale quite quickly otherwise. Side tasting, so it is very correct in the genre with a rich lather and a café with a pretty good intensity but without bitterness. Matter of taste of course, but for me, it suits me.
With regard to the announced intensity, the "classic" is classified as intermediate intensity. (3 on a scale of 7 dixit my package, but apparently Carte Noire redid its range and increases to 5 out of 10.)
Good news, this set of 2 is really economical (there are 72 pods in all.)
