I have the following scenario:

- A small 5.1 system (Logitech Z506) with analog 6-channel input and analog stereo input
- Amazon FireTV via HDMI to a TV (Toslink still free, no analog output)
- Spotify premium account
- Various android devices with Spotify App

Now I want to play even when the TV, the audio signal of FireTV on the system in order to play Spotify from your phone or tablet via Connect can. A valid use case, in my opinion.

As I stumbled in the Blitz offers via converter, I slammed immediately.

The delivery was exemplary: in addition to the Toslink cable two solutions were supplied to the power supply. A power adapter and a USB cable that fits perfectly into the otherwise useless USB port of Fire TV. It seems as if the converter for exactly this purpose would be provided. The installation was so intuitive and easy.

The signal came directly. Unfortunately, the audio signal is slightly overdriven, so the result sounds tinny. This could be corrected if the output of FireTV could be insulated. However, there is no volume control on the FireTV and the Spotify Android app unfortunately not. The converter offers no tuning options.
