Since my old was not particularly well made and after some time gave up the ghost, I wanted a new one that should be of better quality this time.
I chose the Manfrotto monopod because this company supplies recognized good products and because it had a reasonable price for a quality product.
Positive are particularly
- The proper processing of the entire metal construction
- The stability, also in the extended condition
- Price-Performance Ratio
- Lightweight and easy to carry
- Ability to install any ball heads (1/4 or 3/8 inch thread)
The height of 1.54 m plus a good 5 cm for the ball head loose enough to a height of 1.85 m.
(Must be purchased separately) Without ball With Removable I would not use such a stand, though, because then you would have to screw the tripod directly to the socket of the camera. With each change of location or transportation in screwed state would expose the camera screw very strong lever forces which could well destroy the camera thread.
My verdict after three days of intensive use: This monopod is clearly worth a recommendation.
