Very simple handling with three buttons. The little manual provided allows to know well the device. The direction of Mecca is indicated good since I was using several apps on my phone, which indicated the same direction as this unit. I stopped using apps from my phone because not enough reliable if I did not 3G while with Emuezzin as is a GPS no problem or that I either I find the right direction Al-Hamdoulilah ! It has a backlight that is activated by holding down the key a few seconds "OK" requires 3 AAA batteries included. Berf, small, light, simple and essential!
