Formula 1 racing wheel in Ferrari Design on T 500 RS I have used this product since early November 2011, and drive as 68-year-old still racing simulations. What could be better, the change of the steering wheel is a delicate matter because of the contact with the steering wheel base is via a micro-jack plug. (Similar to S-VHS connection) Importantly, the installation guide is to observe 100%, otherwise nothing works more. Positive is the handling in connection with the PS 3 Playstation. The new firmware (available for download at Thrustmaster) the use of a PC is possible now. The configuration options are even more extensive. The build quality is subjectively very good. The three below are installed toggle switch made of metal. The chromed shift paddles are also made of metal, the front black cover (switch-backing plate) is made from coarsely brushed aluminum and bolted. The indicated 6 rotary switch in the center (without function) are due to the Ferrari-optics. The remaining switches have two functions partly or optimized for the Playstation PS 3, but can be reprogrammed probably also for the PC. This steering behavior is exemplary, that is realistic for me. I use the steering wheel for GT 5 or Dirt 3 (with div. Disadvantages) and would thus spare me the laborious Umbauerei.
