So I looked for a baby monitor with camera and then pushed to the Audio Line 900984 Babyphone Audioline 900984 digital cordless video baby monitor V 120 and quickly realized that calmed me immensely video surveillance. Once she has made over a sound, the display jumps to and I could see: Okay .. all good .. she dreams only .. So turn around and go back to sleep.
But the major shortcoming of this camera was the camera itself. This can be swiveled, but is apparently too heavy, so they always did not remain in the proper position with us. I invite to a photo where the transmitter was with us - namely the children's wardrobe and should then be directed downward into bed. But again and again we had to readjust the camera because they slowly walked down :(
So for our son I wanted to a camera, but I had no more on correcting the camera repeatedly lust.
We ended up at the Foscam FBM3501 that made equal a good and solid impression. We have a nail carved into the closet and used the nailer on the back of the camera to hang the camera. Also on the uploaded photo can be seen (on the cabinet = Transmitter Audio Line / At the cabinet sidewall = transmitter Foscam).
This camera was set very quickly.
We first tested the camera long and hard with our quite active daughter (2 1/2).
And I can only say: How awesome this camera is that? Because over the receiver - so the handset with the display - you can move the camera!
A lucky because our daughter moves lately a lot to us as it is sometimes with the head at the foot. With the Audio Line we have seen a maximum of a few feet. The Foscam we move the camera just further down - perfect !!
And if you stand up alone, we can turn so far that we see the whole room and can see what they are doing.
The moving camera is so awesome and well that I would prefer solely awarded 5 stars.
Criticisms:
- Compared with the Audioline baby monitor, the display is approximately twice as large, by which the quality suffers a bit. Here Audioline scores a little more - I also upload a photo.
- The battery life of the receiver could be slightly higher. It can be observed properly, as the battery level drops in the bar during the evening. Forget I then times recharge overnight, the receiver will beep the next night even before, because it no longer quite enough. This is not mega dramatic, but could still be improved.
- The microphone is already really special;) Our display will jump to when a bus passes (this is between children and street in front of the house is a guest toilet and a front yard), but it does not get to when our daughter alone leaves bed. So has to be real quiet. Therefore strange that a passing bus is perceived, but do not.
- The menu is only in English - but it is almost self-explanatory and should not be a problem.
Nevertheless, the moving camera sweeps everything out so much that I do not want to give up this baby monitor and we have the audio line baby monitors now dismantled.
Conclusion:
Anyone who thinks that he vllt Camera position. must change because of very active during sleep child times, is served really well with this baby monitor. In daylight, the display quality is great! At night there is a little pixelated - but you can still see everything well (see uploaded). We are happy :)
