Frequent disconnections: THE solution

I recently bought this router to configure wifi access time slots for each device connected to the home (read: curb access wifi to my children overnight, exams ...).
Admittedly, the beginnings were very disappointing, as the router would disconnect the modem (passed in bridge mode).
After hours of fruitless searches on the web, I came across a Linksys forum in which the author speaks of the subject of this problem:

The subject deals primarily with the latest firmware which would be unstable ... but I think it is not so.

All my tests were disastrous and when it worked a few hours without disconnecting, I cried ... then it ressautait victory.
And one day, I decided to bring the modem router with the supplied RJ45 cable (1 meter).
It does not help me because the modem is in the cellar.
I raise it all ... and more NO disconnection while moving, even with the latest firmware.
Without moving anything, I reconnected another Ethernet CAT 5 cable of 10 meters ... and it did not take 15 minutes, disconnections on disconnections!

Well, I just ordered this 5 meter cable CAT 6 SSTP (the pairs are individually shielded):

In short, a star less unacceptable for this sensitivity on the part of such a machine when everything was rolling with the first prize TP-Link.

I hope this has helped the fan community of Cisco / Linksys (which unfortunately has just been sold to Belkin).
