Before requesting a return, I notice that the LED on the remote control was feeble.
I thought the battery was dead, but nothing to open and move the battery, the LED lit better.
And then actually worked and the timing is very easy to do!
So if it happens to you, before returning the product, try removing / replacing the battery!
Or try a new battery. For strangely there is no plastic protection at the battery to prevent any discharge if a button is pressed down (during transit, for example), bad point on that for Chacon.
