Frightening reality

In Daniel Suarez '"daemon", the computer genius Matthew Sobol in the Cyberworld wants to make himself immortal. The terminally ill with a brain tumor head of a large computer company writes computer programs that can act independently and thus be a mortal danger. After his death, a special virus daemon starts work. He is able, to certain content to check web pages every now and then perform appropriate actions. Or to put through fake entries in motion events. The government is not keen to make the activities of the Deamon publicly. By investigating two mysterious deaths Detective Sebeck gets into the vortex of the investigation into the Deamon. This program succeeds not only to amass incredible cash reserves, the program manages also to blame everything Detective Sebeck, so that the world thinks of Deamon did not exist. Sebeck ends up in jail and the daemon can continue to spread.

Opinion:
An absolutely brilliant and disturbing book at the same time. Very up to date and realistic. One thinks all the time, it's just a matter of the same, when the contents are true. The writing style is fluid, exciting and thrilling. There is an excellent end and despite previously announced sequel, the story is coherent and plausible in itself. The characters are described in detail and the psychological mechanisms of action very well understood. It should be noted perhaps are the many technical terms that will surely understand not everyone. But even if not, the book is exciting and makes what has been said more realistic.

Cover and title:
The cover illustrates for me excellently the whirlpool, or is being drawn on the internet. Can the experts the code number 0 and 1, based on each programming, immediately recognize. Evil is certainly circumscribed well with Deamon.

Conclusion:
