The supply of CM3 was fast and without delay, but now the problem: While it was 2x 1GB DDR memory, 184 pin, supplied with Infineon SDRAM components, but this is NOT working with my old AMD desktop PC (VIA KT400) compatible, although having decided to book memory (PC2700 DDR333 memory Infineon, 184 pole, AMD, VIA, SIS and nForce compatible) the technical specification corresponds! The supplied DDR memory modules are both made of memory components by Infineon with the part number HYB25D512400AT7 (see photo on the right, used according to Infineon datasheet only for memory modules DDR266A!), On the other hand, Infineon SDRAM PC2700 DDR333 memory modules memory components whose part number ends in each case with 6 (according to Infineon datasheets). The memory modules make Although at first glance a new impression, but at the Infineon memory components is partly the label until almost unrecognizable worn (see photo on the left), so that they do not make new impression itself. CM3 could or did not want to convert the unusable for me working against kompatibelen memory. It was only after my repeated, emphatic indication that the delivered DDR memory modules do not match the data sheet of Infineon, I got a, also cheeky, response from the manager on this tip! From a reputable dealer you expect something else. The memory modules supplied by CM3 are probably compatible only with AMD K8 (Athlon 64, etc., see eg Wikipedia) and later generations, but apparently not suitable for even older generations (Athlon XP, etc.). And it is indeed PC2700 DDR333 memory is also questionable.
