I was very skeptical that this camera would be really my wishes. Sure, as an action-cam she was to me quite already known and often I have seen on Youtube really grandiose movies that have allegedly turned a GoPro. Still, I was largely skeptical and suspected behind the recordings often other, more expensive cameras. So I finally wanted to test even the quality of GoPro (Hero 3 Black Edition Outdoor) once. Here is the list of my impressions:
+ The cam has only three buttons! The operation is thus largely self-explanatory. If there are any problems but once, then there is an online sensation million from "reference books" that can help a fast and reliable in every situation. For me it was actually about how you can turn off the beep sound that is set when you press the buttons at the factory. Googled problem and two minutes later it was already removed from the world. This speaks not only for the ease of use of the Cam itself, but also for a very solid community, where you can find out quickly and easily using the device.
+ Video recordings: truly magnificent. Whether in the water, on land or in the air - the picture quality is (in the highest resolution with "fish eye effect") just terrific for a camera that is only half the size of a cigarette shafts. I was very impressed.
+ Images: Of course I get with the EOS towards better shots. But if, for example at 40 ° C and 85% humidity marched through Port Louis, who like a small, compact and lightweight device with you, which also also shoots usable images. And exactly this requirement profile applies fully to the GoPro: The pictures are really presentable and quite a few, we have now also incorporated in photobooks, although it was the existence, photographed with much better equipment.
+ Processing: The case is processed fabulous. The Cam fell off me already often without thereby any problems would arise. When diving it was waterproof up to 35m, so it can be assumed that the indication of 60m is in principle applicable.
+ Updates: Go quickly and easily drag and drop. So you have a very short time the latest firmware on the device.
+ App: Very cool gadget, which replaces the missing display. By the hotspot generated by the cam simply selects one with the smartphone and can thus almost in real time (delay at about 1 second) to stream images of the Cam or already view recorded image.
+ Accessories: Although some of it is there, but I have nothing so far used it or used. It is a pity that the really useful accessory is now even become something of a cash cow for the manufacturer with which they milk their customers virtually. :-(

Great Action Cam that withstands everything and (especially!) Everything endures. I would really buy the GoPro at any time and I am really impressed with the quality of the images and video recordings that delivers this cam. Robust and with lots of features in the settings - a faithful companion for any holiday!
