My son is in the 4th grade primary school and as they now begin to work with the compass. The first homework we've done together and I realized that my son was frustrated pretty quickly.

First, the spindle is too easy. If several identical circles are drawn or to be transmitted something, you have to be really careful as hell, so that the circle is not adjusted at the slightest touch.

Secondly -and I know now can not remember exactly what it was like in my earlier - is the face very soft. It is not broken, but must often be nachgespitzt. That is that the lines are fast thick and therefore inaccurate.

I'm going to watch time as he continued lining up with it. Must halt another forth a pinch. I just thought with the name Herlitz can not do a lot wrong. Well. Buy cheap -> buy twice ...
