fun, but smells of glue

The rattle looks nice and my little one (13 weeks) has pleasure in it. Prima is especially that they can be turned into many different directions and he has fun with it to take the "pimples" in the mouth. However, here comes the "snag": the rattle smells of the glue with which the parts / knobs are obviously glued. I hope that there is still, we have the rattle only been in use today. As it is, however, designed "in the mouth" and for that I give only 3 stars, I find such a part should not smell like chemicals.
