Fun for kids, but programmatically bad

So the software makes our son so fun that it has the 3rd part wished for Christmas, after having worked through the first two parts (though not yet in school). This fun taking part from 1 to 3 from something, possibly because develop more tasks in the style of the more playful discoveries towards exercises.

I myself often can not quite understand why this software is so popular with our son, because the voice of the program with "No, thinking 'again after!" a rather strict undertone has. The operation is in many places not exactly elegant. Major problem in some tasks is the cursor position in the right input field.

Even the mini-games you realize the limited programming art. Very simple knit and 5 minutes paralyzed from the difficulty and then to (theoretically) unschaffbar enhancing within a few seconds.

In addition, falls on unpleasant that the Software will be uninterrupted, even at idle, with 100% CPU utilization is running and bring the fans at full speed. As a computer scientist I doing something hurt.

For the same money you get a number of very well-made apps on iOS / Android compared. Although these admittedly not so directly map the school curriculum. Thus depends on the intended use.
