Fun for (very) small and large

After - in our family - a resounding success of the film I was really looking forward to the implementation of the PS2. Granted, I have the game as my almost 4 year old son bought more for me because it Experience has shown that often unfamiliar with its racing games. Meanwhile, we have both and my wife a great fun with the game.

The characters from the movie are implemented class graphics are implemented toll itself both in the cutscenes and in-game, m. E. even much better than NFS Most Wanted. The landscapes are extended more and more with more items won games in Story Mode class created with a lot of depth and partly a super panorama makes great fun to stand on top of the mountain and look down on Radiator Springs. In between there are always some funny surprises such. As the Piston Cup race the pit stop with the little Italian forklift Guido.

My son I pair the steering wheel to the PS2 and let him go in the story mode by the (almost) endless landscapes that he finds great. Of course, I myself have the ambition, the story mode to gain as many points as possible and get ahead. For the points you can buy in the bonus area new characters, paint, depicting scenes from the movie, etc. then. Still to mention is the arcade mode where you can play already activated race or mini-games in single player, also a multiplayer mode where you can go there with zweigeteiltem screen up to today.

Conclusion: A great fun for the whole family, great implementation, good graphics, highly recommended!
