"Factual examination"
First is because Sammy Hagar; once and now again independent musicians; whim sometimes fronting a supergroup; but essentially known as the erstwhile (vocal) flagship Van Halen! What Sammy drove there took care of enthusiasm but also rejection! Finally, he took away the Raw of Van Halen and gave their music the many Fan to access touch along the way. Ultimately, Van Halen with Sammy Hagar had her most successful phase. And this fact is (simply considered) give the deeds of Sammy right. Well here anyway Sammy's easy Sammy. A good mood exceptional shouter! You can think what you want about him, but his voice is still something of bold and meaty that one rather thinks of a twenty-something, than at an official grandfather. What Sammy brings here vocally, meets pretty much the core of (good) classic rock music: earthiness, unvarnished appearance, no detours, straightes march forward, clear words, pure energy and absolutely life-affirming. No, that voice is simply honest Sammy is the classic siren! On top of his songwriting, which although sometimes acts Simpel (because not complicated), but this is absolutely authentic!
Then of course there's the professor Mr. Joe Satriani. For insiders it sometimes leads to a Nimbus idol; or not! He is celebrated as a guitar god; there he is decried as Flitzfinger or guitar athlete. Many love his delicate emotive guitar playing; Other him speak from exactly this and perceive it as too mechanical, predictable, technology-dependent In the end it is as always a matter of taste, about which one can not argue. What he does here at Chickenfoot is certainly technically absolute best level. Especially emotionally I feel him here to lengths gripping than on his solo albums. Everything is round and ripe. Only now sounds Satriani really convincing for me. And I own and love all of his solo albums! Maybe he should, as a Joe Bonamassa generally connect at Black County community, a band to find out under the influence of other musicians equal the true ground for diamonds.
But where there is light, there is shadow. Satriani has not reinvented himself and his game. Everything sounds vaguely familiar. Almost every guitar solo is a quote from his solo albums. But it is precisely the rhythm work that makes life a song; which determines the basis for the power of a song; which determines how dull, or how crazy is a song. And just this rhythm work of Messrs Smith and Anthony lives of the experience, from the wit and good humor.
"Emotional consideration"
First I hear here one of launigsten rock albums of recent years and ever. As a rule, is specifically used to it from AC / DC to be rescued by a bombing in a good mood from the deepest depression. But before I ever bought this album and has since been overtaken by the totally annoying supergroup ramblings, I had informed on Youtube. Only by a happy coincidence I heard about Chickenfoot and just wanted to listen in, then I saw this incredible fun, the four men transported credible. Especially in soap on the ROAP the video has made such a mood that I had to watch it again and again. A wonderful combination of music and GEILER four guys who when you have just a lot of fun at what they do. And then also the delicious Oh Yeah. Heart what you want more? Again, just awesome !!!
"Concluding remarks"
I won every single musician is first nailed on what he has driven! And because it is currently Hipp, because it supports the pursuit of megalomania, and because it is by the way promotional, here the term is chosen Supergroup. Disgusting! By the way, these gentlemen have for me not the importance that would justify the name supergroup. There were quite different caliber. Overall, the project is still subject to a (purely economic) calculus. If I do not recognize this, this should really be the case? Then it sounds (at least for me) at Chickenfoot not!
Yes, every musician has here its brand recognition. Just does not hurt. On The Contrary! In this situation it makes really fun. A clear recommendation for feel-good rock music lovers. This gives four stars for a very good album that I like to listen to again and again. Five star it is not (yet) because I still a little lacking for the kingdom of heaven; because it is too heavy but fun; because the music has not (yet) really seized up in the brain. But that can not be everything
