Function top but nice if they would also be closely

I purchased the Garmin Swim 1.5 years ago here at Amazon. Amazon even I saving my comment. Regarding the clock, now two hearts beat in my breast. Regarding the function, there is not much to complain about. Train more than 30 years exclusively on long distances (1500m, 5km, etc.) and am actually every day in the water. Counting the railways works 100% and the number of trains fits accurately. Display is large and easy to read, that is a short visual check on the turn is not a problem. Garmin Connect also works perfectly.

Unfortunately, however, the good piece develops over time into a real nuisance. The keyword is condensate. In various blogs is already on the subject is sufficient "50m water resistance" to swim from which pressure conditions arise while swimming by the dynamic pressure during Kraul- or dolphin swim. At first I laughed about it, but it is a fact that is increasingly condensate in the clock making and no, it is not the battery.
The amount of condensate, which then usually while swimming forms (by the cooler water) and condenses on the inner glass, up to the formation of droplets and subsequent total failure of the clock. Open the battery cover and the clock dry for several days and kept hot, unfortunately, does not help, because the display is sealed to the watch glass down. Condensate which has been formed between the display and watch glasses, one gets hardly eliminated. The only solution here to open the watch case! Warranty is then extinguished and keep long dry, then you have to stick the housing again. Annoying, but the offered function I do not want to miss and had no patience to wait for the Garmin service center. One can it possibly imagine how much I appreciate the function of the clock.

Conclusion: The clock works as it should. Railways and arm pulls (as far as we speak of Kraul) are 99.5% always evaluated correctly. Unfortunately, the leak seems to be a problem. If this should occur, directly back to Garmin, even at the slightest condensation. Actually, 5 stars for function but only 1 star for the "quality" of the hardware, condensate in a clock may not be. Therefore only 2 stars, I almost regret, because the clock really enthusiastic in their function.
